Our Rates
No Hidden Charges
When you book with us, you can be guaranteed that there are no hidden charges.
We charge on an hourly rate, for depot to depot travel time and the load/unload time, which are billed in 15 minute increments, so you only pay for time taken.
- Standard Weekday Rates
- Saturdays at time and a half
- Sundays and Public Holidays at double time rate
Our rates include transit insurance, our new 45m3 Pantech Truck with 2 tonne tail lift, professional and experienced 2 or 3 man team, packing blankets and straps to ensure your belongings are kept safe and secure.
All moving charges are calculated from our Busselton depot to load up location, unload location and return to depot (depot to depot).

To retain professional and expert staff, Marlin Transport Busselton Removals pay premium wages to our awesome hard working team to ensure continuity of excellent services. As such, our hourly rates are very competitive and reflect the service we are proud to provide.
Weekdays have the lowest rate and we charge a higher rate for Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays and after hours moves, due to paying penalty rates to our employees.
Extra heavy (solid timber, marble, stone etc, pool tables, pianos, spas) or specialty items incur additional charges per item at load location and unload location depending on access details.
Stairs at either property will incur surcharges charged depending on the amount of items / stairs and the logistics being moved up or down.
Parking distance restrictions, where getting to and from the property and truck is excessive, will incur a surcharge.
Surcharges will be discussed with clients by the team on job and agreed to prior to items that fall under these categories, being moved by our removal team. Please disclose anything that falls under these categories with our team when booking.

If load is in excess of 45m3, we can provide an additional truck to ensure your move is completed in one move.
Payments
Booking payment is to be made to confirm booking.
Remaining payments are to be made on the completion of the job prior to the removalists leaving the site.
Late fees apply to late payments at 2.5% per day.
Payment plans are available with a set up charge of $50.

Insurance
Protecting Your Belongings During A Move
The Marlin Team knows how precious belongings are to our clients.
When you’re moving house, it’s easy to get caught up in all the logistics like packing and hiring movers, so don’t forget about the safety and security of your belongings during the move. That’s where removal insurance comes in.
Our Team takes due care and diligence while handling your possessions, however, should you require insurance for your move, speak to our team for advice and information.
Your possessions are protected by our TRANSIT Insurance while on the road – should they be damaged if our truck is involved in an accident while on the move.

Household Removals
Customer’s Own Insurance
Some home and contents insurance policies may provide accidental damage coverage for goods during a move, but this is not a standard feature and should be verified with your insurer. Confirm your items are covered while being moved from your property into the truck on your property and truck into your property at your new address.
Don’t forget to review your excess amount and update your insurance to cover your new address after your move date while on the phone to them.
Third Party Insurance
Should you require insurance for some or all of your possessions, consider purchasing moving insurance, also known as third-party insurance, to ensure coverage for any potential mishaps.
The Marlin Team recommends CARTS insurance.

The Marlin Team recommends CARTS insurance should you require cover for moving commercial goods.

If you are moving, you may need packing boxes or temporary storage, we are happy to provide some resources to help you out.
